Chart notes
BEAR CLAW vied for the lead from between horses while two-wide, took the lead entering the stretch and won drawing clear. MCMERCELUS prompted the pace while racing three-wide, could not stay with the winner, but continued on for the place in a game effort. JEEPS STRIDE was unhurried early, came four-wide into the stretch, angled in to to split rivals during the drive and was making up ground late. PROBATE stalked the pace racing along the inside, rallied three-wide into the stretch but lacked the needed late response. B R KIDD ROCK was unhurried early, came six-wide into the stretch but failed to seriously threaten. SMOOTH WATERS prompted the pace while racing four-wide and weakened. D C ALLIED FORCES dueled for the lead from along the inside to the stretch and tired.
