Chart notes
GIRLINTHEFIREPLACE was well placed, early, rallied three wide at the quarter pole, drew off late under firm handling. ORBIT BOUND broke sharply and quickly gained the lead, remained clear at the quarter pole, was no match late for the winner but was second best. PRINCESS MORO was allowed to settle, had a mild bid four wide while no threat to the top two. PASATIME pressed the pace until the top of the stretch, then faltered. CHORIST had good position on the inside and lacked a late response. NATIVE VALLEY allowed to settle, failed to menace. HALF LEGEND raced mid pack early and tired in the stretch.
