Chart notes
DOWNTOWNCHALYBROWN pressed the early pace and made a three wide bid on the turn, then kicked away leaving the turn and was kept to mild right handed crop urging to prove best. GANDI was well placed early on the inside, shifted off the inside on the turn and made a four wide bid nearing the quarter pole and finished willingly but could not get to the winner, second best. SIR REX was off a beat slow, chased the pace and was ridden along on the turn, came three wide into the lane and had no kick while being clearly the best of the rest. TURNPIKE BOB set a pressured pace on the inside and weakened. SPOOKY ONE failed to menace. LONG TOM showed little.
