NOBLE GASTON vied three wide for the early lead, dueled two wide on the turn, battled it out with GREMLIN in upper stretch, gained command nearing the sixteenth marker, drew clear and pulled away under urging. GREMLIN vied between rivals for the early lead, dueled inside on the turn, dug in gamely inside of the winner in the stretch run, yielded and then held on for second. BLACK LIGHT vied inside for the early lead, chased on the turn, swung wide at the quarter pole, came three wide into the lane and rallied mildly outside. SEMPER FIDELIS trailed the field, moved up on the turn, came three wide into the lane and closed late outside. O'BRIEN stalked the leaders, steadied in tight entering the turn, then chased and tired, bled. PRIVATE SECTOR vied four wide for the lead, chased three wide on the turn and faded. WISPERING SPRINGS stalked early on, chased three wide on the turn and gave way.
