LIBERTY BELLE pressed the early pace, rallied in the stretch, drew off late, driving. TOY TIGER dueled on the early lead, gained a clear lead on the turn, was no match late for the winner but was second best. PRINCESS HALIME raced close up until mid stretch, then weakened. TUFFIAN never far back, lacked a late response and went evenly. HIGH MEADOWS saved ground and was outrun. EGG NOG trailed. The rider of PRINCESS HALIME claimed foul against the rider of LIBERTY BELLE for alleged interference leaving the gate. After viewing the tape the stewards took no action.
