Chart notes
PAL CAL was well placed on the inside to the quarter pole, then eased out and made a four wide bid leaving the turn, then had a long drive and got up late to prove best, driving. EDICT was four wide into the first turn, then rated five wide on the backstretch, made a three wide move on the turn, took over leaving the turn and then had a long drive with the winner but was outfinished by that foe. VISHNU was reserved early, made a four wide move on the turn but flattened out late, held show. DEVOTED KITTEN was settled back early, advanced two wide on the far turn, then checked leaving the turn and swung wide and rallied late. BAVARIA set a pressured pace on the inside and was headed by the quarter pole and weakened. BOSSY CAT passed the tiring rivals. AUTOMATE was five wide into the first turn, then angled in on that turn and saved ground on the far turn but was empty in the lane. MEROCKETMAN pressed the pace three wide and tired. WHO YOU SAY I AM stalked the pace four wide and tired after six furlongs. SHADOW BOAT dull effort.
