HOW DID HE DO THAT pressed the pacesetter from the three path, bid turning into the stretch, and drew clear. FLEET OF FLAGS was hustled along while four wide, was ridden from the five path into the stretch, and ran on to get up for place late. U. S. ARMY set the pace in the two path, was roused from the four path turning into the stretch, but yielded in the final furlong to show. HA HA FOR YOU had a slow start, raced from wellback in the two path, was driven from the four path into the lane, but finished evenly. GUITAR BOY prompted the pace from the four path but faded while drifting out in upper stretch. MALMO raced in midpack from the four path early but was empty going into the lane. ZIA ZAPPER had a slow start and was always outrun. OHHH DADDY rated from the six path but was no menace.
