Chart notes
ICE BAR saved ground well off the early pace, bid past the seven sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn, dug in from the head of the lane to get up later yards and drew off nearing the wire. REY O REYES stalked from the two and three paths, challenged toward the three eighths pole, raced at even terms two deep on the far turn then dueled through the stretch for second. SKATING DATE cleared the field and moved to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure approaching the three eighths pole, contested even terms at the rail on the far turn then flattened in the duel through the stretch. CITIZEN'S FIRE raced wide early on and dropped well out of contention, bid nearing the five sixteenths pole, raced near the rail into the far turn, angled to the five path through the turn and passed rivals in the lane. SCHOOLYARD BULLY saved ground early then eased out into the backstretch, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and showed little in the lane. CHESAPEAKE CHARLIE raced well off the pace about the three path, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole then flattened widest on the far turn. THATZA ALPHA settled in the three path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but faded past the three eighths. BOOK OF DELANCEY raced well off the pace and showed little response through the backstretch. DAKOTA BOY rated close to the early pace inside, gave chase past the half mile pole then weakened in the three path of the far turn.
