DEEMED ESSENTIAL chased through the backstretch, raced off the rail on the turn, left the turn in the three path and dueled determinedly to get up later yards. LA FAMILIA chased inside, raced near the rail on the turn then dueled through the stretch for second. UNLOCK set a pressured pace, contested the rail through the turn and dug in under steady handling from the head of the lane, but was met mid-stretch and relented in the duel for second. DISTORTED SPLENDOR gave chase inside and finished well. MIZZEN gave chase, rounded the turn about the five path then flattened through later yards. AT THE HALF chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the seven path and raced wide into the lane.
