Chart notes
CANT STOP THIS MAN pressed the pace four wide and made a three wide bid on the turn to gain the lead, then dug in gamely in the furlong grounds to hold sway late, driving. ROCKET BLAST tracked the pace and was three wide by the quarter pole, angled out leaving the turn and made a bid to loom boldly by the furlong marker but hung late. COLONEL MOORHEAD pressed the pace three wide and made a mild bid two wide on the turn, kept on to the wire but was outkicked. FIRE DOWN BELOW was settled back early, came three wide into the lane and had a belated rally. NICK THE CARDSHARK was rated along on the inside, then eased off the inside and came six wide into the lane and had a mild late rally but needed more. PERUVIAN BOY set a pressured pace on the inside, then was in tight while trying to get out and checked hard at the five sixteenths and then shifted to the outside and was empty.
