Chart notes
NATIVE HAWK tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, raced in the three path around the turn, began a bid nearing the quarter pole and dueled down the lane to get up late. BAZOO led the way through the opening quarter of a mile, battled while racing in the two path around the turn and continued to duel to the wire to just miss. PALADIO raced in the middle of the pack between horses in the early going, saved ground around the turn, began a bid in upper stretch, improved position and was outfinished late. HOT AND HEAVY hit the gate leaving it, recovered to chase the leader on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and finished evenly. POSEIDEN raced off the pace on the inside in the opening stages, came around the turn in the two path and improved position mildly in the lane while never threatening. PREFERRED OUTCOME raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and weakened in the stretch. KEVIN WITTE stalked the pace setter on the outside early, raced in the four path around the turn, swung wider still entering the stretch and flattened out from there. IMTAKINITTOTHEBANK raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path and showed no kick. SHAKEM N BREAKEM raced at the back of the pack through the opening quarter, saved ground around the turn and was empty in the lane.
