Chart notes
FREE SPIRITED was forwardly placed from the start, moved closer nearing the half mile pole racing three-wide, responded to pressure during the drive and finished strongly to be up in the final strides. GOODBETTERBEST saved ground setting the pace, opened clear nearing the eighth pole and just failed to last. FROSTY DIVA prompted the pace while racing two-wide to the stretch and held on well during the drive. LADY ENVOY was unhurried early, rallied four-wide into the stretch and was gaining late. RIGHT NOW was allowed to settle in stride, came three-wide entering stretch and went evenly late. TRIBAL SPIRIT dropped back early, came five-wide into the stretch and was not a factor. SIMPERING SMILE saved ground stalking the pace for five furlongs and then gave way.
