Chart notes
STORY HOUR saved ground while being forwardly placed, slipped through to take the lead entering the stretch, opened clear nearing the eighth pole and maintained a safe advantage. VOW was allowed to settle in stride, waited behind horses nearing the stretch, found room entering and finished strongly. DELIGHTOF THE NILE saved ground setting the early pace, drifted out nearing the quarter pole and weakened. ITDOWHATITDO was prominent from the outset, came four-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. MARKSWOMAN was reserved off the pace, rallied four-wide into the stretch and then went evenly late. BURNT MATCH was off a step slow, then saved ground and failed to threaten. MIDNIGHT TANGO dropped back early, racing two-wide and was not a factor. BOW TO NONE showed brief speed racing five-wide and gave way.
