Chart notes
BUBBLE ROCK saved ground setting the pace racing in hand, responded when asked and maintained a safe advantage. JOYFUL APPLAUSE stalked the pace racing two-wide, offered a bid entering the stretch, offered her bid entering the stretch, could not reach the winner but continued on gamely for the place. TAKE A STAND saved ground while being forwardly placed, could not stay with the top two late but held on stubbornly for the show. LOVELY PRINCESS was allowed to settle in stride, came three-wide into the stretch, waited for room in the upper stretch, angled out for the drive and was gaining late. QUALITY STAR was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch and gained her best stride too late. SHE'S GONE dropped back early, came six-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. LADY PUCHI settled in the middle of the pack while racing two-wide and was not a factor. FANCY MARTINI was close up while racing along the outside, came four-wide into the stretch and weakened. CALIFORNIA ANGEL was reserved off the early pace, moved up four-wide on the turn, lacked room in the stretch, checked nearing the eighth pole in traffic and was unable to recover in time. SWEET LADY IVANKA dropped well back early and failed to menace.
