Chart notes
POINT PROVEN tracked the pace while racing three-wide, moved up to take the lead entering the stretch and gradually drew off. ENDPOINT saved ground setting the pace, responded when challenged but was not match for the winner and held on well for the place. ESCAPOLOGIST was unhurried early, came six-wide into the stretch and finished strongly. SPIELMAN was reserved off the early pace, moved up four-wide to offer a bid nearing the quarter pole and then flattened oiut. REGIMENTAL dropped back early, rallied six-wide into the stretch and was making up some ground late. HARD TO COME BY saved ground while being allowed to settle in stride, found room entering the stretch but lacked a rally. COAL BOSS was unhurried early while saved ground, angled out for the drive and failed to seriously threaten. MACHO VILLA was unhurried early, came six-wide into the stretch and failed to menace. SPOILER was prominently place early while racing five-wide and weakened. LEVEL UP dropped back early, came four-wide into the stretch and was not a factor. FACE VALUE split rivals on the turn to move up and force the pace from along the outside for six furlongs and tired. CREPE YARNS trailed throughout and was outrun.
