Chart notes
SHOSHONI MOON settled just off the pace about the three path, bid leaving the five sixteenths pole and improved in the three path on the far turn, then dug in determinedly to eke out the nod in the final strides. MY FLICKER stalked the early pace from the three path, bid leaving the five sixteenths pole and took a slim lead two deep toward the head of the lane, dug in gamely through the final furlong but missed the nod in the final strides. ESCAPE FUND stalked off the rail, took a slim lead at the seven sixteenths pole and was pressured from the five sixteenths, gave up the advantage at the rail toward the head of the lane and weakened leaving the far turn. MY LOVELY GIRL rated close inside on the first turn, gave chase toward the three eighths pole, steadied at the rail approaching the five sixteenths and showed little more. JAMESTOWN ROAD saved ground, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the four path and showed little in the lane. TIMEISGOLDEN rounded the first turn in the four path, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the five path of the far turn then weakened. CANVAS ART set the early pace inside, came under pressure leaving the half mile pole, was met at the seven sixteenths and gave chase from that point but faded at the rail on the far turn.
