Chart notes
I'M A CUTIE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, increased his margin through the turn, then drew off in the stretch and was kept to the task. MY GIRL MELLY mid pack, moved up inside through the turn, angled out four wide into the stretch, then drifted in and closed for the place. FEEL LIKE GUESSING well placed, moved up three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, weakened late and held the show. A PERFECT SET allowed to settle, moved up three and four wide through the turn, fanned widest into the stretch and got up for a share. SONG OF THE HEART tracked the pace, saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and weakened. BYZANTINE EMPIRE ran evenly. TROUBLE IN RED steadily lost ground. MISS HOLLY allowed to settle, moved up four and five wide through the turn, then had no rally. LUNA AMARILLA well placed and outside, faded through the turn. TIPHARAH was never involved.
