Chart notes
ALIZEE well placed and outside, gained a striking position three wide through the turn, drifted out into the stretch, angled in, made a steady gain, edged ahead, then drew off late. LUCKY LIZZIE stalked the pace on the outside, gained a short lead on the two path through the turn, then was no match for the winner, while clearly best of the rest. VOODAYO well placed and inside, saved ground through the turn, angled out and came three wide into the stretch, flattened and held the show. DIXIELAND DANCER mid pack, saved ground through the turn, angled out to come three wide into the stretch and edged up for a share. BEAUTIFUL TIZ allowed to settle, moved up three and four wide through the turn, fanned widest into the lane and improved position. MA MEATLOAF mid pack, lost some ground two and three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and weakened. DRILL'S VALENTINE allowed to settle, saved ground through the turn, angled out into the stretch and passed tiring rivals. TEE UP set the pace off the rail, angled in into the turn and faded through the turn. CHAMPAGNE BLING was never involved.
