Chart notes
APPRECIABLE was away in good order to duel for the lead with PIRATES CROSS while racing three-wide, opened a clear margin into the lane and drew off as a handy winner. RODEO ROSE pressed the pace of the winner while racing four-wide, was no match for that rival in the drive but clearly second best. PIRATES CROSS was off a step slow, rushed to vie, disputed the pace with the winner and gave way after going a half. BACK TO BUSINESS raced unhurried early, moved five-wide through the turn and finished evenly late. LATER DAYS was forwardly placed from the inside, angled out nearing the three-sixteenths pole and weakened. CHA settled off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the turn and weakened. QUEENS RANSOM was void of early speed, raced four-wide through the turn and was not a factor.
