Chart notes
DIRECT ORDER stalked along the inside, took aim outside of the leader in upper stretch, grinded away to drive past that tiring foe at the sixteenth foe, and drew clear. SMOKEY HARBOR set a clear pace, but flopped back to his left lead once caught at the sixteenth pole. COUNTER OFFER stalked two wide while outside of the eventual winner, got floated out by that foe in upper stretch, and yielded through the final furlong. MAJESTIC SIGN stalked outside of the clear leader, but weakened approaching the far turn, was eased turning for home, pulled up in upper stretch, and got vanned off.
