Chart notes
YANKEE DOLLAR lacked early speed, raced four-wide through the second turn, responded when set down for the drive and was up in the closing yards. VERY SCARY was away in good order to set a pressured pace from the inside, opened a clear margin into the lane but could not resist the winner late. BARBIE WARS pressed the pace of VERY SCARY while racing three-wide and gave way gradually in the drive. FIRST IMPRESSION lagged early, saved ground through the second turn, angled out nearing the three-sixteenths pole and did not menace. PRINCESS OF MALIBU was forwardly placed from the inside and weakened after going five furlongs. MIZHIPZLETUS showed brief speed and weakened.
