Chart notes
STRONG LIL KOKORO settled off the rail the first turn, started a bid approaching the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the three path of the far turn, dug in for the lead inside the sixteenth pole and edged clear later yards. THEWITCHISGONE raced with the pace two deep then took the nod into the backstretch, showed the way and contested the edge through the far turn, was met mid-stretch, relented later yards and just lasted for second. LEG UP stalked off the rail the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the half mile pole, raced close off the rail on the far turn, finished well and just missed second. ROCKET'S CASTLE raced with the pace inside, was met into the backstretch and engaged in close chase from that point, contested at a slim disadvantage nearest the rail on the far turn then weakened the final sixteenth. CHASE LIL ME rounded the first turn in the three path, gave chase from the half mile pole and raced in the three path of the far turn, but proved empty in the lane. S S ALASKAN CRUZ saved early ground racing well back, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail, angled out toward the head of the lane and weakened. MR CHANCE ROMANCE rated close to the early pace inside, gave chase from the half mile pole then faded at the rail on the far turn. SLEW THE TURN was not a factor. FELICIAS CASTLE raced well back and never factored. LIL TOUGHMAN showed little response through the backstretch.
