Chart notes
BIG CREED was away alertly to set a pressured pace while racing three-wide, opened a clear margin into the lane and drew off as a handy winner. ROYAL CANDY broke sharply to press the pace of the winner while racing four-wide, was no match for that rival in the drive but clearly second best. FLASHIN ACES lacked early foot, raced four-wide through the turn, angled in nearing the three-sixteenths pole and finished evenly late. BATTLEOF TRAFALGAR was off a step slow, raced five-wide through the turn, reached a contending position but failed to gain late. THIRSTY COWBOY was forwardly placed early, moved three-wide through the turn, angled out into the stretch and lacked the needed closing response. HE'S A FLYIN settled off the leaders early, saved ground through the turn and failed to rally. GLORY CITIZEN showed no early speed, raced four-wide through the turn and was not a factor. IGO was void of early foot, raced off the rail through the turn and did not menace.
