Chart notes
BIG BEAN CHRISTINE brushed with a foe at the start, tracked the pace on the outside, was asked four wide on the turn, took the lead passing the five-sixteenths, dropped to the three path while shaking clear at the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop in upper stretch, switched to a left-handed crop near the furlong marker and held under strong urging. SIMPLE SUGAR was well placed just off the pace, went three wide around the turn, came four wide into the stretch, chased the winner in the drive and safely secured the place. CRYSTAL ORB was coaxed along off the pace, saved ground under stronger encouragement around the turn, spun into the stretch in the two path and came up empty while best of the rest. SHEZA RAJUN CAJUN went to the front, showed the way down the backstretch, vied in the two path on the turn, was headed at the five-sixteenths, dropped back into upper stretch and weakened. MERGER OF EQUALS was urged along on the outside, went four wide on the turn and failed to respond. PREDETERMINED was urged along on the far outside, went five wide on the turn and also failed to respond. HANDLE THE TRUTH ran-off with the jockey during the warm-up then was assisted with getting pulled up by the outrider, came away in good order then was hustled, raced off the pace under urging, went three wide on the turn and capitulated. LEMON TAFFY was hustled from the gate then urged along off the pace, saved ground on the turn and had nothing left.
