Chart notes
MYSTIC O'SHAUNESIE gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn three wide, dug in for the lead deep stretch and raced clear under the wire. TALKING TEDDY set a pressured pace, raced near the rail on the turn, was steadily handled through the lane but gave up the lead late yards. ENTRY TIME angled to the outside to give chase, rounded the turn about the seven path and dug in from the head of the lane to take third the final strides. IN HIGH GEAR pressured the pace through the backstretch, dropped back at the quarter pole, raced in the four path of the turn, ran evenly in the stretch but was nipped from third the final strides. CHIPPEWA'S CASTLE engaged in close early chase, rounded the turn about the five path then flattened from mid-stretch. CHARITABLY GIFTED chased inside, raced near the rail on the turn then flattened the final sixteenth. ROCKET J. gave chase inside, raced near the rail on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. BERTRAM FLIGHT was crowded on the chute then engaged in close early chase, contested the turn two deep then weakened the final sixteenth. The Stewards reviewed, then dismissed a claim of foul against the rider of In High Gear for alleged interference on the turn, lodged by the rider of Chippewa's Castle.
