TURN ON THE JETS (IRE) settled off the pace and steered down to the inside, inched closer around the turn, bid inside GET BACK GOLDIE in upper stretch and gained the lead near the eighth pole, kicked clear midstretch and won going away. WHATMAKESSAMMYRUN took a bumped from inside at the start, stalked on the inside off the pace, saved ground to the stretch, closed well and edged SUMTER for the place honors. SUMTER chased outside a rival at the back, went three deep into the turn, four wide leaving the bend, tipped widest at the top of the lane and missed the place. REBEL POSSE forwardly placed in the early going, raced a bit off the rail then two wide on the turn, drifted out in the lane and needed to find more late. COULTHARD (IRE) was forced to check early, raced off the rail at the back then went two wide into the turn, spun three wide into the lane and improved position. GET BACK GOLDIE broke a step slow then was sent for the from the rail, cleared up the backstretch and showed the way into the lane, came off the rail and let the winner up the inside, lost command outside the eighth pole and weakened in the late stages. RESPECT THE CODE broke out and bumped foe, stalked outside a rival early, took the turn two then three wide, drifted out and bothered HOT BOX midstretch and could not rally after. HOT BOX stalked three deep then came four wide into the stretch, got pinched between rivals in midstretch and could not regain momentum.
