Chart notes
TRAEGAR broke out and bumped rival then took control and moved inside, set the pace under pressure up the backstretch, vied with rivals on the far turn and maintained a short lead into the stretch, dueled with FINNEUS in the final furlong and gamely prevailed. FINNEUS antsy in the gate, broke in and bumped rival, chased four wide around the first turn, outside the top pair in the middle stages, challenged three deep on the far turn, battled TRAEGAR through the final furlong and could not get by. STREET RUCKUS stalked the pace from inside, angled out on the far turn and came four wide into the stretch and was along for the show. ATOMIC DROP stalked three then two wide early, tugged and climbed a bid early on the backstretch then went up to press the pace from outside, vied two wide around the far turn and between rivals into the lane, got shuffled back midstretch and weakened. DIRECT LINE got bumped on both sides leaving the gate, traveled two wide between rivals on the first turn, moved out and went four deep into the far turn, spun five wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. MASTERING was fractious in the gate, broke out, drifted out and was corrected trailing the field early on the clubhouse turn, trailed to the far turn, drifted again and came four wide into the drive and lacked any response. CODE RUNNER chased three deep early, outside a rival at the back on the backstretch, entered the far turn between foes, exited that bend two wide and weakened.
