CATALON stalked four wide early, bid two wide on the turn, dueled with LUCKY BREEZE, gained a short lead, edged away in upper stretch, then dug in gamely late to prevail. LUCKY BREEZE moved up early to set the pace, showed the way on the inside, dueled with the winner on the turn, dug in gamely inside in the final furlong and battled on to the end. ESCANDALO was off slowly, outrun early, advanced three wide on the turn, rallied mildly outside and was along for the show spot. ANGELOFTHEGALAXY chased three wide early, chased the leaders on the turn, weakened and lost third. SANTAFE EXPRESS chased close up two wide, raced inside on the turn and tired. PAGE ELEVEN raced off the rail, off the pace and did not factor. SAY NO MORE raced off the pace inside and was outrun.
