Chart notes
MELTING SNOW went to the front, showed the way while well out in the track, extended the advantage late on the backstretch, drew off in the two path around the turn, was set down in upper stretch, raced under a strong hand-ride into the final furlong, was given one pop of a right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole then one more inside the sixteenth-pole and proved much the best under a brisk hand-ride to the wire. TILSA tracked the pace on the outside, fell further behind the leader leaving the backstretch, was roused in the three path early on the turn, continued three wide into the stretch and earned the place while no match for the winner. KERIK settled on the outside, was urged four wide around the turn, turned into the stretch under a drive and missed the place while well clear for the show. THAT IS KEY tossed her head at the start and was off slow, spotted the front a few lengths, settled off the pace, raced between foes starting inside the three-quarter pole, was urged three wide between foes on the turn, dropped back four wide into the stretch and had nothing left. LINNY KATE raced just off the pace between foes, was urged along in the two path while still between rivals on the turn and capitulated. SWEET BLINDNESS broke in and hit the gate, was positioned just off the pace on the inside, saved ground under urging on the turn and faltered.
