Chart notes
TRAELEE was bumped going into the first turn then raced in the middle of the pack down the backstretch, made a three wide bid on the final turn and was up in final jumps. BODE'S LIGHT lugged out in the first turn and bumped outside rival, settled in the middle of the pack, made a four wide bid on the second turn to take the lead at the three sixteenths pole and was caught in the final yards. TEXAS GOLD RUSH saved ground around the first turn and down the backstretch made a two wide bid on the final turn, moved out to three wide in upper stretch and finished gamely. SPEED EFFECT vied for the lead around the first turn then engaged the leader at the three furlong pole and took the lead at the five sixteenths pole then weakened. BALKY was hustled to take the early lead around the first turn and retreated. THIRTYEIGHTCALIBER was unhurried early to the final turn then made a mild bid on the turn, went three to four wide in upper stretch to improve his position. AUTOCRATIC was allowed to settle but failed to menace. VEGAS GUY was placed off the pace in the three path moved between horses going into the final turn and gave way. COACH HUDSON saved ground to no avail.
