Chart notes
EXCUSES EXCUSES rated a short lead inside, came under pressure nearing the five sixteenths pole, contested the edge into the far turn, briefly ceded to the runner-up midway through the turn, recovered the advantage into the lane and held on under a vigorous hand. ROSELEE stalked off the rail, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, raced at even terms two deep leaving the quarter pole and took a brief lead mid-way on the far turn, gave up the nod into the stretch but remained a factor to the finish. RAVIOLI MAMA rated close inside on the first turn, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail, eased out into the lane and finished well. CEDARS BULLS EYE settled off the pace in the four path the opening turn, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the four and five paths and finished well; outside. I B NASTY saved early ground then picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path and ran evenly in the lane. UPTOWN BELLE was shuffled back early and settled in the three path the first turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail then flattened the final sixteenth. ULTIMATE BREEZE showed little response through the backstretch. GREEN SCREEN QUEEN saved ground.
