Chart notes
RED CROSS KNIGHT bumped leaving the gate, raced in range off the rail, took the turn two, three, then four wide, angled inside the leaders in the stretch, took over with a furlong remaining, moved clear and held safely in the end. TOP OF MY GAME stalked outside a rival, went three wide into the turn, spun five wide into the lane, finished well and closed the gap on the winner while holding the place. WARRENS WORLD bumped inner rival leaving the gate and dropped back, went four wide into the turn, came seven wide into the lane, closed well from outside but could not get by TOP OF MY GAME for second. MARKS HIP set the pace under pressure from outside, saved ground to the lane, drifted out while maintaining a short lead in the stretch, lost command at the eight pole and weakened in deep stretch. BLACK MAGICIAN pressed between rivals early, came four wide into the lane, kept the pressure on MARKS HIP in the lane while getting floated out steadily, then flattened in the final sixteenth. SPIRITIST attended the pace three deep early, chased the top pair five wide into the lane and faded out of contention.
