Chart notes
ALAS AND ALACK settled off the early going, raced near the rail in the drive and finished well to get up under strong handling. BAYLIS STREET prompt the pace setter from the outside, was clear near the eighth pole while racing near the five path and was wore down in a game effrot. BODACIOUS BREN stalked the early pace, raced along the inside past the three eighths pole, raced four deep into the upper stretch and finished willingly to the wire. O SHAUGHESEY showed good early foot to set the early pace from the inside and weakened. CONTROLLED FIRE raced mid pack early on, was five to six wide into the upper stretch and raced evenly with no closing run. THEOLA FUGGINS stalked the pace and weakened while racing from the outside. RIDE THE RAPIDS dropped back early, raced seven wide near the three sixteenths pole and never was a factor.
