Chart notes
BALADI broke a step slow and trailed early, went two wide into the turn, spun four wide into the lane, drifted in while closing from outside, drew alongside the leader past the eighth pole and inched ahead in the final sixteenth. PIONEERING PAPA broke a step slow, chased four deep into the turn, continued four wide into the lane, reached the front at the three-sixteenths pole, cleared midstretch, challenged by BALADI past the eighth pole and got outkicked in the late stages. DUTCH BUS chased on the inside through the turn, finished willingly in the drive but was not enough to get to the top pair. MISSED CALL bumped at the start, stalked three deep early, rounded the bend three wide, drifted in behind a rival at the quarter pole, tipped out and lacked a late bid. KIMMER got bumped on both sides leaving the gate, chased between and two wide on the turn, moved to the inside in the stretch and could not rally. COMMANDER CARL was closest to the turn, rounded the bend two wide and weakened. EDINBURGH EXPRESS broke out and bumped rival then sprinted clear, led two then three wide around the turn, yielded in upper stretch and faded.
