BRIDLEUPTOTHEBAR set a pressured pace while racing three-wide, responded when challenged by RES IPSA LOQUITUR nearing the quarter, vied with that rival and edged away through the closing yards. RES IPSA LOQUITUR broke sharply to press the pace of the winner while racing four-wide, moved up to engage that rival nearing the quarter, vied but could not match strides with that rival late. POPS AWESOME lacked early speed, saved ground through the turn, reached a striking position and failed to gain late. GRAVES MILL ROAD settled off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn and finished evenly late. PURE ROCKET was forwardly placed early, moved three-wide through the turn and lacked the needed closing response. MAJESTIC STREET raced off the pacesetters early, moved six-wide through the turn and failed to rally. MARICOPA COUNTY raced off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn and did not threaten. BUGLER lacked early foot, raced three-wide through the turn and did not offer a bid. DANNY ZUKO showed no early speed, raced four-wide through the turn and was not a factor. BROGAN'S INVASION showed brief speed and weakened.
