Chart notes
BALLROOM BLITZ allowed to settle, rallied three wide through the far turn to make the lead at the top of the stretch and drew off late under mild urging. STARSHIP MACYS chased the pace for four and one half furlongs, made the lead, set the pace to the top of the stretch then was no match for the winner while well clear for second FLAXEN went evenly. BOURBON BUNS failed to menace. HIGH HEAVEN broke in front, set the pace for four and one half furlongs, had speed into the stretch then weakened. EARLY BLOOMER was no factor.
