Chart notes
STARSHIP GOTHAM stalked the pace, was taken up near the three eighths pole, angled inside foe in the stretch and was just up. DUBROVNIK saved ground close, bid outside to the front on the turn, collared late, gam. PRINCIPE trailed far behind outside then offered some late energy. MAJOR CAM alternated for the lead inside, moved briefly clear on the turn then proved empty. OLD BEAU raced off the leaders outside and lacked a rally. JOE THE BOSS dropped well behind and was never in contention. SEVENTYTIMESSEVEN chased along the inside and gave way readily. FINNOGGINDUDE earned a narrow lead outside through the initial quarter and was finished after the half.
