Chart notes
DOCTOR DOOM stalked outside in the early stages, chased on the turn, rallied between rivals in upper stretch, charged to the front and drew clear under urging. HOTPOT raced off the pace, three wide on the turn, angled out in midstretch, made a late run outside and finished well to get up for second. JOVIAL vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, dug in to midstretch and weakened late. JOKEMEISTER vied outside for the lead, dueled on the turn, dug in through the lane and weakened late. SPIRIT'S HERO tracked on the inside, chased inside on the turn and lacked a stretch bid on the rail. PRIVATE SECTOR stumbled at the start, raced off the pace inside, advanced on the turn, then was pulled up in the stretch and vanned off.
