Chart notes
LIGHTNING STAR tracked the leaders from the inside, appeared hard to rate, angled out in mid-stretch and was up in the closing yards. GODGUNSNCOUNTRY set a pressured pace from the inside, opened a clear margin nearing the quarter and gave way grudgingly to the winner late. MOOGIE SON settled off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the second turn and finished with a steady bid. MR LOVE MUFFIN raced off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the second turn, angled out further in mid-stretch and finished evenly. HANKY PRANKY showed no early speed, saved ground through the second turn and did not threaten. SILVER KING BAIN was forwardly placed early, moved up three-wide to offer a bid nearing the half and weakened soon after. TWIST OF FATE chased the leaders while racing four-wide and weakened after going five furlongs. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
