Chart notes
BLACK EYED BANDIT chased the early leader, raced three to two wide in the drive and got up under strong handling. RIG RIDER stalked the early pace, raced along the inside into the upper stretch and finished gamely to the wire. SPINNING BLACK showed good early foot to set the pace along the inside, raced two to three wide in the drive and gave way grudgingly. DAN WHO rated along early, raced from the inside around the far turn through the stretch and had no final winning bid. FARMER FRED R F was slow early on, raced four wide past the quarter pole and had no late rally. MR CHARLIE KING was forced to check sharply soon after the break, altered out, ridden along early, raced three wide around the far turn and never threatened. SURF N DELMAR ducked in sharply soon after the break, forced Mr Charlie King to take up, raced off the early pace, lost ground and raced far back.
