Chart notes
HIZAAM was allowed to settle early, was three to four wide on the backstretch, advanced four wide on the turn and came five wide into the lane, continued that move and edged clear leaving the furlong marker and then maintained that advantage to the wire, driving. A T M AWESOME stalked the early pace three wide, made a four wide bid nearing the quarter pole, hit the front leaving the turn and then was confronted by the winner and dug in but was outfinished. CARGO SHIP vied for the lead on the inside and then faded in the drive while staying on for the show award. ELEVATED FOREVER was reserved early, advanced on the turn two wide, swung out four wide leaving the turn and made a bid but hung late, missed show award. PEPE TONO was reserved early and was four to five wide and had no rally. SMOOTH OPERATION vied for the lead two wide and weakened. MR. SKITTLES failed to menace.
