Chart notes
RAMBLIN' MAN was off a step slow and bumped then hustled along to duel for the lead from between foes and edged away through the final yards. BRAZEN NOW was away in good order to dispute the pace while racing three-wide, could not match strides with the winner late but finished well to hold the place. TONY'S TAPIT was bumped at the start, vied for the lead from the inside, checked nearing the five-sixteenths pole and finished willingly when clear. HEY PILGRIM settled off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn and finished evenly late. BANGO FOR BUCKS lagged throughout. THE RIDER OF TONY'S TAPIT LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST RAMBLIN ' MLAN CONCERNING THE STEADYING OF HIS MOUNT AT THE FIVE-SIXTEENTHS POLE AND AFTER REVIEWING THE FILMS THE STEWARDS CONDCLUDED THAT NO CHANGE WOULD BE MADE.
