Chart notes
BELGRANO settled off the pace while racing two wide, waited for room nearing the quarter pole, swung out in upper stretch, kicked in and was up in the final strides. NOTHING BETTER dueled inside, kicked clear in upper stretch and led until the final strides. AGENT PETER GRAVES was bumped at the start, advanced four wide around the turn and ran on outside to gain the show. CAROTARI chased the pace from the rail, had clear sailing inside in the lane but flattened out in the final furlong. DUBAI KEY (ARG) dueled two wide to upper stretch, weakened through the lane and was vanned off. MATTA failed to menace while racing two wide. CLASSICSTATEOFMIND had his head turned at the start, raced off the pace four wide, swung widest in upper stretch and never threatened. SCARAMOUCHE was outrun inside. CHESS MASTER chased the pace two wide between foes and came up empty in the lane. CHUCK WILLIS (IRE) broke in and bumped AGENT PETER GRAVES at the start, stalked the pace three wide and retreated through the stretch.
