CARCANO raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening half mile, saved ground around the second bend, began a bid approaching the quarter pole and gained ground to the wire but could not get by the winner. THERE BE DRAGONS raced in the three path around the first turn, tracked the leaders on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the three path and kept on to the wire. INSTINCTUAL raced off the pace on the outside around the first turn and up the backstretch, began to move up racing in the four path around the final turn and was outkicked in the final furlong. MCCULLOUGH saved ground early, trailed the field up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the two and three path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and flattened out in late stretch. SPINZAR raced in tight quarters while saving ground around the first turn, chased the frontrunner between horses up the backstretch, dropped back while racing in the two path around the far turn and faded further in the lane.
