Chart notes
STAR ENTRY was reserved just off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn, responded when set down for the drive and wore down AFTER THE CANDY in the closing yards to be clear late. AFTER THE CANDY was away in good order to set a pressured pace while racing three-wide, opened a clear margin into the lane but could not resist the winner late. GOLDEN COWBOY lacked early speed, raced three-wide through the turn and finished with a steady bid. ROCKY JACK was forwardly placed early, moved four-wide through the turn and failed to gain in the drive. UPPER ROOM was void of early foot, raced five-wide through the turn and did not offer a bid. WARFRONT FIGHTER showed no early speed, raced eighth-wide through the turn and was not a factor. STONUS MAXIMUS pressed the pace from the inside and weakened after going a half.
