Chart notes

CHEF MENTEUR settled off the pace while racing three wide, edged closer in the three path rounding the far turn, inherited the lead when the pacesetter bore out near the quarter pole, vied between foes through midstretch and edged ahead under a drive. MEDIA SENSATION raced off the pace two and three wide and rallied between foes to gain the place late. PLAYERO settled off the pace while racing three wide, advanced four wide around the far turn and ran on through the lane to gain the show. MISS HOLLY raced in range inside, bid inside of the winner in upper stretch, vied past the eighth pole then flattened out. MODUS was unprepared for the start, raced well back two wide early, advanced five deep rounding the far turn, lugged in under right-handed urging nearing the eighth pole, checked off heels and dropped back. DEN STREET was outrun inside. CHENTI stalked the pace in the clear in the three path, bid nearing the quarter pole, was forced to the outside fence and checked soon after then was eased through the lane. BALLROOM EYES set a clear pace in the two path, bored out near the quarter pole and was eased in the lane. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT NEAR THE QUARTER POLE AND REVIEWD AN OBJECTION FROM THE RIDER OF MODUS AGAINST PLAYERO FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH AND TOOK NO ACTION IN EITHER CASE.
