Chart notes
FIESTY FIST was placed off the pace from the three path to the final turn then took the lead at the quarter pole and just lasted. DONNIE BOY settled in the middle of the pack down the backstretch then moved out to two to three wide at the quarter pole for a late rally and just missed. WICKED ROSE was allowed to settle at the back around the first turn then moved up on the backstretch, went four wide in upper stretch and was gamely in the stretch drive to be best of rest. CAMEO DANCER raced in the middle of the pack while saving ground moved out to four wide into the final turn and faltered. IRON IN THE FIRE went to the early lead from the two path was headed at the quarter pole and fought gamely to the sixteenth pole and tired. MONARCH'S MISCHIEF was always back. AZTAR vied for the lead from the inside then took a brief lead at the five sixteenths pole and weakened.
