Chart notes
CREED saved ground around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the far bend, began a bid between horses nearing the quarter pole and split horses to pull clear in the final sixteenth. MONTAUK SUMMER raced in the two path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the far turn, kicked clear entering the stretch and was caught near the wire. BULLET FORCE (IRE) saved ground early, continued up the backstretch off the pace, came around the far turn in the three path, began a bid nearing the quarter pole and gained ground late. TAPSASIONAL saved ground through the opening quarter of a mile, chased the leader up the backstretch, challenged from the two path coming around the far bend and was outkicked while drifting out in the final furlong. ORIGINAL raced in the middle of the pack on the inside around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued around the second bend in the two and three path and faded in the lane. AZURE SKY saved ground at the back of the pack through the opening half mile, continued to save ground around the far turn and never threatened. ASHAAB raced in the two path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch at the back of the pack on the outside, navigated the far turn from the three path and made no bid. INDIAN FEVER led the way from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, dueled while saving ground around the far turn and tired quickly in the lane.
