PRAIRIE raced in the four path around the first turn, tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, challenged from the two path coming around the far turn, and pulled clear in the lane. SMITHWICK'S SPICE led the way from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the second bend, was caught in upper stretch and kept on to the finish. HARD ATTACK raced off the pace on the inside through the opening half mile, continued to save ground around the far turn and improved position mildly in the lane. ON THE COUCH raced in the two path around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, saved ground around the second bend and gained ground mildly in late stretch. FIERCE WARRIOR raced in the four path early, continued up the backstretch off the pace on the outside, navigated the far turn from the three path and made no bid. WHISKEY PLANK raced in the three path around the first turn, pressed the pace between horses up the backstretch, dropped back while racing in the two path around the far bend and tired further in the stretch.
