Chart notes
MONTAUK COVE stalked the pace into the stretch, responded readily when set down, rallied three wide to make the lead past the three sixteenths pole then widened the balance of the trip under brisk handling to win as much the best. GIO SAMMY with the second flight two wide, shifted out to the five path entering the stretch, rallied determinedly and finished clear for second. COLOMBARD never far back, finished with good courage in the six path. GET HAMMERED battled for the lead along the inside and faded late. THE COOKIE MAN dueled for the early lead two wide, shook clear entering the turn, set the pace to the top of the stretch then weakened late. HIDDEN RULER failed to menace. MOON LAUNCH was outrun. WISE KHOZAN was no threat. KEYED ON TOP was no factor.
